Acceptable Use Policy
VisiHost enforces a strict Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) to maintain the integrity of our network, protect our IP reputation, and ensure a safe environment for all users. Violation of this policy will result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
1. Prohibited Network Activity
You may not use VisiHost services to engage in any of the following:
- DDoS/DoS Attacks: Launching or facilitating Denial of Service attacks.
- Malicious Scanning: Port scanning, vulnerability probing, or network mapping of third-party systems without explicit authorization.
- Botnets & Malware: Hosting Command & Control (C2) servers, malware, ransomware, or engaging in botnet activity.
- Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk emails, SMS spam, or operating open mail relays.
- Abusive Proxies: Hosting public anonymous proxies, Tor exit nodes, or VPNs utilized for malicious activities.
- Spoofing: Forging IP addresses, MAC addresses, or packet headers.
2. Prohibited Content
VisiHost services may not be used to host, distribute, or link to:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). (Reported immediately to law enforcement).
- Phishing sites or credential harvesting platforms.
- Illegal content, including unauthorized copyrighted material (piracy).
- Terrorist propaganda or content promoting extreme violence.
- Fraudulent websites, HYIP schemes, or scam operations.
3. Customer Responsibility
You are fully responsible for the software running on your servers. If your service is compromised due to weak passwords, outdated plugins, or insecure code, and is subsequently used for abuse, you are still held responsible for the AUP violation.
4. Abuse Response & Takedowns
When VisiHost receives a valid abuse report or automated network alert:
- The offending service is immediately suspended.
- The account owner is notified via ticket/email.
- The owner must respond within 24 hours with a plan to resolve the vulnerability.
- Failure to respond or repeated violations will result in permanent account termination.
5. Copyright Violations (DMCA)
We comply with valid copyright infringement notices. If we receive a legitimate DMCA takedown request regarding content hosted on your service, we will forward the notice to you. You must remove the infringing content within 24 hours. Repeat infringers will be terminated.
