Maintenance Policy
Last Updated: 2026-08-30•Version: 1.0.0
To ensure optimal performance, security, and hardware stability, VisiHost periodically performs network and server maintenance.
1. Scheduled Maintenance
Scheduled maintenance includes non-critical hardware upgrades, network routing optimization, and panel software updates.
- Notification: We will notify customers via our Discord community announcements and/or email at least 12 - 24 hours in advance.
- Impact: We aim to perform scheduled maintenance during off-peak hours to minimize disruption. Depending on the task, your server may experience brief packet loss or a forced reboot.
- SLA: Scheduled maintenance does not count toward SLA downtime calculations.
2. Emergency Maintenance
Emergency maintenance is performed when an immediate threat to infrastructure stability or security is identified.
- Examples: Critical zero-day vulnerability patching, failing hardware replacement, or severe DDoS mitigation routing changes.
- Notification: Due to the urgent nature, emergency maintenance may occur with little or no prior warning. We will update our status channels as soon as the intervention begins.
- Impact: Services may be temporarily unreachable while the emergency is resolved.
3. Customer Maintenance
You are responsible for the maintenance of the software inside your container or VPS (e.g., updating your bot dependencies, game server versions, or VPS operating system). VisiHost's maintenance only covers the underlying physical hardware, hypervisors, and control panels.
